The New Sciences Behind Gardening

This course examines how gardening has changed in the last few decades and how countless scientific, but practical, research findings have trickled down to the mainstream of America’s favorite hobby to bring about those changes. The science behind why gardeners do what they do – or should be doing – in the garden and why a lot of what gardeners do is not the most effective way to have a successful garden. Emphasis on what we now know about life within the soil and how it impacts just about everything the gardener does.
