Photography Workshop: What Makes up a Good Composition?

Seeing the ordinary world clearly is a source of raw material and inspiration when you work with your camera. This workshop is about utilizing your powers of observation. You will learn to see everyday objects/subjects with an ‘artistic eye.’ We will discuss elements and basic principles of design and learn how to apply them to your compositions. Each week we will explore a few of these concepts at a time.  Classes will focus on viewing and talking about photographs and completing photography projects each week. Students will be required to get photos printed for discussion. There will be a field trip the third week.
