The rise of cyber-attacks and a heightened awareness of network vulnerability, coupled with a shortage of trained cybersecurity professionals, is creating serious consequences for individuals, corporations and government agencies seeking to protect sensitive information.
Western’s Bachelor of Science in Cybersecurity degree prepares students in administrative and technical fields involved in protecting computer systems, programs, and digital info from cyber threats and exploitation.
The program is available in Bellingham and Poulsbo in state-of-art training facilities. Located on Whatcom Community College’s campus, the Bellingham program is affiliated with CyberWatch West, making it the only NSF-ATE Center in the Western Region of the United States.
Launching in Fall 2018, the program at Western’s Poulsbo location will become the first Cyber Range in Washington State. Read about Western's Cybersecurity degree program in the Kitsap News.
