Program Content

The program consists of two quarters of the highest levels of IEP: levels 5G and 6G, which are essentially the same as the regular IEP levels 5 and 6 with higher academic requirements and extra program content (see below).  This program is designed to help students attain English proficiency for graduate school, and to gain exposure and competency in a US university classroom setting and instructional methods.  Also students will be given step-by-step guidance in the MBA application process and will participate in various workshops and lectures in the MBA program.

Pre-MBA students will interact with other IEP students, domestic WWU students and community members in IEP activities, and can live on campus in a dormitory.  Students will have attained language proficiency, cultural competency, familiarity with WWU, and developed friendships and relationships with faculty by the time they’re ready to start the MBA program.
