Established in 2013, Western Washington University Center at Olympic College Poulsbo is a collaboration between Olympic College and Western to serve the community and businesses on the Kitsap and Olympic Peninsulas.

Western Washington University, through partnerships with Olympic and Peninsula Colleges, offers degree programs and an array of lifelong learning opportunities, including community events, Academy for Lifelong Learning and youth programs.

Academy for Lifelong Learning on the Peninsulas

Academy for Lifelong Learning on the Peninsulas offers multiclass academic and cultural courses focus on adult learners and instructed by college and university faculty, faculty emeritus, and experts in various fields and professions. Courses encourage discussion and an exchange of knowledge and ideas.

Cyber Range Poulsbo

Western Washington University built Cyber Range Poulsbo at the WWU Center at Olympic College Poulsbo to serve as an educational resource for the state of Washington. At Cyber Range Poulsbo, students of Western’s Computer and Information Systems Security (CISS) program and students in other cybersecurity programs in the state can practice various tests and analysis in a secure virtual environment.

SEA Discovery Center

SEA Discovery Center combines science, education, and an aquarium. We welcome visitors of all ages to learn more about the creatures living in the waters that surround us.

Summer Session

Summer Session is an open quarter and formal admission into Western is not required. Summer Session offers several courses on the peninsulas and over 90 online courses.

Western Lecture Series & Events

Western Lecture Series & Events educational, single-session lectures include popular topics such as human rights, the environment, business, wellness and more, are presented free to the public and feature guest speakers who are specialists in their field.

Youth Programs

Western's Youth Programs offers K-12 enrichment programming in Poulsbo. Year round Youth Programs include fun-filled hands-on programming like Kids Night Out w/ Western (KNOW) and summer programs including Odyssey of Science and Arts and Grandparents U.
