Kids Night Out @ Western (KNOW) Anacortes

Enjoy a well-deserved date night while your kids have a fun-filled evening through Kids Night Out @ Western (KNOW).

Students in grades K-6 will explore hands-on science activities in Shannon Point Marine Center's student lab and library, and watch a film at the end of the night.

Ever wonder how ocean animals make light known as bioluminescence? Or why there are different light zones in the ocean?

Participants will learn and explore under the “deep sea” and discover the weird creatures that live there. We encourage children to come with questions and leave with knowledge. This is an awesome way to introduce marine biology and hand-on science activities to your children.

Get in the KNOW and join the fun!

Youth program participants and staff must abide by all University regulations and program rules.
